CYCLONE GABRIELLE SUPPORT
The Future of Severely Affected Locations (FOSAL) voluntary buy-out and relocation programme provides options for owners of Category 3 land. This land has been designated as being no longer safe to live on following the 2023 severe weather events due to the risk to life from future flooding.
There is currently no additional funding support available relating to Cyclone Gabrielle.
If you’re still feeling the financial impact of the 2023 cyclones:
- contact Rural Support Trust for direct support and referral to financial and farm management support on wairarapateam@ruralsupport.org.nz or phone 0800 787 254
- talk to your rural banker, farm advisor or accountant.
